Totally agree. Those are legit reasons to divorce. I am talking about people like my friend who left her husband because she was feeling "unfulfilled ". Or my brother who abandon his kids because it was all just too much. These people are incredibly selfish. If you commit to making a family you commit to at least raising the kids before breaking up and doing your own damn thing.

It's impossible for an outsider to know what is really happening in a marriage/family. Drugs, alcohol abuse, domestic violence - you have no idea and it's easier to simply say "we moved apart" less stigma.

I view divorce as such a selfish thing. Your children will suffer from a lack of resources for you selfish pursuits. I don't judge people who are abandoned or leaving an abusive marriage.
