This was supposed to be Merchant's best defense for her guilty guilty client, to disqualify the DA. But she was never going to be able to make it happen. There was never a conflict of interest. And the silly theory that she hired him to take her on cruises on the taxpayer's dime, well, that was always laughable.

May not have planned it, but that is what happened. Suspect the tax payers in Georgia are not pleased that it happened.

There is nothing illegal about Trump urging Raffensperger to investigate the election results especially considering the shenanigans that went on the evening of the election.
