Is Bullis overrated?
quite simply - yes.
Cardinal Gibbons is a big fish in a puddle in NC.
Bullis is not a very good team.
Overrated? I don't think it's overrated, no one thinks Bullis is good.

If Bullis is not a good team this year, what does that say about the DC area picture?
The Bulldogs are 100% a top 4 team in the area based on results YTD.

Keep bragging about your precious school and how much better the academics are. Colleges don't give a crap whether you graduated from STA / GP / SJC / GC, etc... Go to whichever school is the best fit for your child. A 4.0+ student at one school looks the same as another 4.0+ student at another school. Unless you are a legacy, college admissions don't care. Lacrosse coaches definitely don't care which you school you graduate from - only your talent on field. Keep paying $50k+ Independent verses $30k for Catholic.

I have DC who graduated from there. GC has a broad range of academic opportunities and our experience was excellent. The school can cater to those needing support through those who are high-flyers.
