This wasn't talking about general corruption, it was making a specific accusation, which doesn't seem to be corroborated by any other reliable source.

Zelenskyy has already jailed numerous people for corruption and trying to profiteer off of this war. Have yet to see Putin do the same with all of his corrupt oligarchs, many of whom are off partying overseas far from Russia as this war rages.

There is general corruption and of course it didn’t go away now.
Mentioning it in the context it was mentioned is of course bad PR and anti Ukrainian. Which doesn’t make it entirely false though

This war will go on and on and on. The Russians will not withdrawal. There will be a permanent occupation and ceasefire. I imagine something like in korea where the country stays divided.
