Scott Beard, founding pastor at Fountaingate Fellowship church, used his parish’s resources to campaign for office and several pastors from other churches who donated to him were fined after the state’s ethics commission determined that each violated election law.

Yeah, I guess I can’t get too worked up about a simple drug addiction. I guess he’s a Republican and so, statistically speaking, he is likely to have argued for hard line treatment of others who have drug addictions, but… it’s outside his conscious control. Unlike rape, treason, pedophilia and financial corruption.

I know that someone is keeping track on Daily Kos of all the Republicans caught in crimes like this but has anyone kept track in this thread of how many elected Republicans are guilty of sexual crimes against children? There are a few on every single page it seems.
