He should have been arrested in a normal/professional way then for destruction of property. The Feds failing to do their job in that incident led to the unfortunate and unnecessary circumstance when two idiot Feds murdered a citizen.
DP. Yes indeed, he should have been arrested when he kicked the taillight out of the truck while throwing a tantrum. However, let’s not pretend that if he *had* been arrested at that time, you wouldn’t have been outraged at that.![]()

So you’re saying the Feds targeted him?

He was lucky he wasn’t arrested, shot, or disarmed then. Then he follows ICE around for more? Wild.
He probably should have been arrested that day, yes. But that's not related to his being disarmed and shot days later.
No”probably” about it. He would be alive today if he had been arrested then, as he should have been. ALL of these agitators should be arrested at first offense and carted off for processing and booking.
Most of them are standing, whistling, yelling, filming. You can't legitimately arrest them for that. The only difference is on Jan. 13 he kicked a car. That's what you'd arrest him for. That said, five ICE agents shouldn't have tackled him and broken his rib in response.
They should have cuffed him and take him in the ICE facility for a couple days to chill out. He would be alive today but no he wanted what he got.
No, ICE does not have the authority to detain citizens for chill out purposes or otherwise.
Yes, this is where local Minneapolis officials are failing. What he was doing was illegal and they were responsible. They don't have to enforce federal laws like immigration if they don't want to, but all other laws they are responsible for.
You still can’t murder people over hurt feelings.
First you didn't think it was illegal to cross the border, then you didn't think it was illegal to commit crimes in America, then you didn't think it was illegal to interfere with border agents trying to deport.
Is there some law you think should be upheld?

At least 73% of those ICE has arrested/detained have no criminal record. They’re not going after criminals. They are just terrorizing people with brown and black skin. And also, many of those being detained right now in MN do have legal status in the US (many are asylum seekers). And one more thing: even if they were entering the country illegally, that is a CIVIL offense not a criminal offense.
What ICE is doing: violently abducting, harassing, stalking, brutalizing, racially profiling, and lynching/Murdering people in the streets—THAT is criminal
I. Don't. Care. Deport them all.
