The list should stop at 8.
Heights and EHS were both poopie this year.
1. PVI, undisputed regular season & tourney WCAC champs. Only loss was avenged by a playoff win vs. GZ.
2. Bullis, regular season IAC champs. STA was their kryptonite. Still, beat every IAC team & both of the top 4 WCAC opponents they faced.
3. Georgetown Prep, IAC tourney champs, but never beat Bullis and lost to GZ.
4. SJC, WCAC tourney finalist. Played PVI tough both times. Avenged GC loss.
5. Landon, 2 OT losses to GP cost them the IAC title. Couldn't get past Bullis but took down GC and GZ.
6. GC, wins at SJC and GZ showed what was possible. 1-goal losses to Bullis & Landon stopped a good season from being great.
7. Gonzaga, only team to beat both the WCAC tourney champs and the IAC tourney champs. But only other wins were vs. WCAC bottom feeders.
8. STA, IAC tourney finalist. Combined for just 3 goals total vs GP & Landon, but scored 10 vs Bullis in tourney.
9. Heights, beat STA head-to-head but lost to lowly DeMatha.
10. EHS, 0-6 vs 'Top 8' teams. Lacked a signature win.

What happened with the Bullis coach? Did the parents revolt because they lost to St. Albans?

Not sure how the 2 EHS attack made it. They did nothing in IAC play. They padded their stats against inferior competition early in the season. I wonder what the guy was smoking, who had EHS 3rd in the preseason poll.

And he is going to navy to serve this great country. Sounds like this young man has a bright future ahead of him.

Good to know the the arrogant Prep culture still lives on.

No chance a MD kid that’s good in lacrosse doesn’t get in prep.

GP - #5
Bullis - #28
Landon - LSM
STA - probably goalie, maybe senior attack bc he was the only threat
SSSA - #6
EH - ??

It's a joke Landon was able to sneak in 6 guys on the squad.

Agree, and no team with an 0-5 record should have any.

Landon at best would have been the 3 poles.

Defense (Bowdoin) #27, Sr.
Defense (Hopkins) #29, Sr.
Defense (Dartmouth) #9, Jr.

Landon #4, #2 or #8 didn't scare anybody.

Bullis was also defense heavy understandable but the offense put up points with exception of the Prep game.

Maybe 4 or 2 but 8 scared every team on the schedule. The rest of the team was tiny and really not all that.
Every team gets a minimum 1.
Guessing GP might have split the vote on a bunch of guys. For instance the 2 junior attacks are both really good but coaches might have picked one over the other.

Agree as it relates to Landon, although I thought #2 was pretty darn good. #4 and #8 you can have...nothing to be scared of. Across IAC, I thought only #5 at Prep and #28 at Bullis were really game planned against. Some others had moments, but those two (5,28) defenses actively changed how they play to stop. Film doesn't lie.

Both games went to overtime - don't think there should be a big difference.

Sounds like someone is just bitter their son didn’t make the team.

Landon’s two best offensive players were the 2027 attacker committed to Georgetown who had 60+ points and and the 2027 middie committed Holy Cross.

You are clueless if you don’t think these two are worthy of the all IAC team.
