Trump and the rest of the administration has been lying about everything for so long that no matter what the reality of an attack on American soil is, people will assume it was a false flag and they will assume somehow that Israel is involved.

I think a false flag by Israel could be very effective in rallying the general population and public opinion against Iran. It would just have to be on the scale of 9/11 for it to work. I'm just surprised it hasn't already happened yet.

It’s not 2001, we have way more access to information. They’d have to shut the internet down. I mean, I wouldn’t put it past them, but it would be pretty obvious.

Withdrawal from what? We didn’t even enter. We would lose so many soldiers if we sent ground troops and we all know it and neither Trump nor Israel can afford any more outrage or unpopularity. Yep. It is pretty bad. The Iranians want like 18 US military bases shutdown. Seeing how we can not defend the bases we will likely shut them down and leave the region. It will be prohibitively expensive to keep bases there specially without European bases as transit hubs.

I am beginning to think this whole thing was a ruse to strengthen a key Russian ally and transfer billions to them as well.
