The most recent club communication (posted yesterday, 3/19) is that ASA expects to hear from the GA early this week. The committee has apparently voted on ASA's application, and the next step is the GA reaching out to ASA. I disagree that the club hasn't been very responsive. I think they're doing their best with what has been a surprisingly long process that they don't control.
Any update from ASA on whether they got in?
This is regarding Alexandria Soccer Association, not Arlington!
So yes they got it or they are getting it in the future?
Having MLSN does not guarantee GA. Prior info indicated they would know last week but it sounds like nothing was announced externally.
Way too many GA teams in the DMV already. Just diluting their own product down by adding more. Unless the strategy is "Hunger Games" style survival of the fittest and they let everyone have it and then see who cant compete and has to be relegated to Aspire.
Some would say dilute but looking at the local ECNL clubs the talent is already diluted. A couple of decent teams but the rest are "OK". ECNL needs to re-shuffle divisions to make talent more interesting.
If ECNL is dilluted in NOVA with 3 teams, what does that make GA with 6?
