Here is my question…besides the Ivy League schools, the academies, and a few ACC and Big 10 schools where would you rather see your child go to school besides schools like Tufts, Amherst, or Williams? I’m sure someone will comment on the Amherst coaching issues so take that out of the equation. I think the D1 argument is short sighted and not thinking about the bigger life picture.

Only players that say that are ones that weren’t offered.
That’s not true.
I think it’s true. If you are a true competitor you want to play at the highest level.
LOL the highest level in lacrosse? By the way Stevenson has produced multiple as in more than one professional lacrosse player in the MLL. Not true for several D1 programs for what that is worth.
No money in lax. Can get more aid in D3 sometimes. NECSAC is full of kids who turned down D1 offers. ACC, Big Ten, some Ivy, some Big East and some Patriot. Rest wouldn’t hang with top 15 D3. Bellarmine and Mount St Mary’s is not the highest level.
Kidding yourself.
