Why? As someone who has been struggling with infertility for two years now, I'd like to know, honestly. I've seen this opinion so many times in the past few years; not just here on DCUM, but other sites as well. Can someone please explain to me why you would have "zero sympathy or empathy" for another human being with a diagnosed medical condition? Is it because you assume I have brought it upon myself?

I don't understand when people say it was wrong to take over the land from the Native Americans but it is right to allow Indians, Chinese, Hispanics to take over the US and change its Euro-centric culture?

NOt sure I understand why it's okay today but not back in the 1600s.

It doesn't burn me at all. I think you're fooling yourself if you think most SAHMs "can" do both. The majority of the time that's the reason they are staying home. "To make it easier on DH and DC." That's the same thing as you could figure out how to balance work and home life.


No, it clearly tears you up inside that plenty of capable, accomplished, intelligent women choose to be home with their kids, while you have to keep working. Sure it makes family life easier if there's a SAHP. But that fact has nothing to do with what these women are capable of doing. It's all about what they choose to do and what they prioritize in their lives. But you know all that already. You just can't stand it.
