The assistant executive director is terrible, he basically got booed off and sat down. Mclean confirmed the timeline and what ECNL told them, agreed that it is a terrible situation but said that there hands were tied--lots of good kids getting left out espeically in recruiting years but ECNL doesn't actually care about the kids. Boys coaching slate is a problem because lack of Mclean coaches who know those kids but they said those coaches chose not to join FVU.
Sinking ship….
And so it begins…here come the wave of negative comments from families leaving that did not receive an offer.
Kids lose and you cheer because your kid got an offer. Karma has a way.
There is no offer or cheering here. It is a tough time for all the families and especially for the kids. I am pointing out that this process is not even close to over yet and people are already bashing their old club on their way out.
what is your plan B?

They said ECNL doesn't care about the kids? So why does MYS continue to be associated with ECNL? Oh, right...
What choice did MYS have? It's either get kicked out of ECNL or comply with ECNL
Let's say they ignored the ECNL notice. They will have to find a different league to play in. There are not many choices around (NCSL, EDP, and GA)
But the players will always look to find and play for a better club. The ECNL team has a different roster every year.
