There are many marriages like this. I don’t see why it’s so shocking. Look at Candace Cameron Bure for instance. She has been on record saying her husband makes the last decision because he’s the man in the house. I don’t agree, but there are many marriages like this.

But, you miss my point. OP has been browbeating us for pages here, bought what she wanted regardless of his wishes, and has even asked us how to get him to shut up about it. I meant that he would certainly disagree with OP that he is the lord of the manor!
