Thank you! I can't understand the bevy of posters that liked this crap! And I love, love, love Pride and Prejudice.
There are plenty of popular shows that are akin to watching paint dry. They're still crazy popular. The Office is one such example.
Something out there for everyone, you know?
Friends is another example.
It's escapism, similarly to Bridgerton. Very pretty people living seemingly perfect, beautifully styled lives. Is it all quality TV? No, but is what really what we're looking for?

This!
I can’t stop rewatching those scenes.
I rewatched his scene with the spoon. You know.. for research purposes.
I wonder how many rewatches of certain scenes there have been - some analytics nerds at Netflix must be having some pretty funny meeting explaining some spikes in the viewing data!!!
Guilty as charged. The duke is smoking. What a smile!
I second that - he’s the hottest actor/character I’ve seen in a long time.

Yes, it affects even taste in Netflix shows.
Netflix did some awesome shows that we got during the Covid, such as Eurovision, The Queen's Gambit, but this is utter rubbish!
Yes!!

As far as I can recall no one ever mentioned her, except once when someone said that Lady Bridgerton had birthed 8 children. I assumed the 8th child had died, but then suddenly everyone gets excited that their sister is returning...from where? I thought maybe she had married and moved away, but there was no husband.
She was so random
Francesca was in Episodes 1 and 8. During the rest of the time she was off in Bath visiting friends.
