Were those that got the invites mostly DCE?

Not worth the risk of injury to take girls, plus the inevitable snarky comments from the Long Island teams. All 25 spots will go to boys, you can bet on that.

I thought the WSYL rules said they could take rosters of 25 with 2 goalies. I wonder why they only took 25 boys.

14U was told 80 kids registered and they are only taking a roster of 20

I spoke informally to a coach last night, all communications will go out for both teams no later than Friday morning. The coaches are working on getting online registration set up for those that receive the invite. There will still be a second tryout as some kids who are 'locks' will get an official invite, while others will have to compete for the remaining spots. This is true for both teams. These are facts, everything else is here-say or Cabell trying to stir the pot. Don't fall for it.

About 12 were told they made the team and they were told to have their parents get the checkbook ready. Your parents will have 48 hours to make the non-refundable payment. And don't forget spring dues will be tagged along with those for your individual club team.
