Nicole the mistress has more knowledge than she shows. But unless Watts confessed to her involvement in the crimes, it would be very difficult to prosecute her in a courtroom.
Let’s just say that she has already been convicted by the court of public opinion. And that she is living in a prison of her own creation.

I think authorities just do not have any solid evidence to build a case with.
It is obvious that she knew he was married.
All she had to do was Facebook Shanaan and she could see that Shanaan was claiming that she was happily married and was expecting a baby.
Plus the fact that when Shanaan and the girls returned from N. Carolina with him, he told her that he wouldn’t be able to see her as much.

If he was in fact in a middle of a divorce then none of that stuff would make any sense.

Many people think Watts killed his two daughters because he wanted to be with his mistress but I think the real reason that he murdered them was because they both witnessed Shanaan being strangled by him and since they were old enough to talk - he was afraid he would have to go to prison for murder so he silenced them forever.

God I hate him so much.
Please do not judge. I have never met the guy before but I feel such anger towards this person.

I hope that Chris Watts is rotting more + more each and every day that he is locked up.

I still cannot nor ever will fathom how ANY person could annihilate their entire family w/little to no remorse.

The guy must have ice cold blood running through his veins.

I cannot believe that so many women are in love w/this loser & are writing him behind bars…..
Looking to date him??!

Bumping this thread because I saw some new (to me) documentaries on Hulu about the case, and realized that Nichole Kessinger's police interrogation was released - the whole video as opposed to transcripts and clips.

I really believe NK was in on it. And I don't understand why she has never been pursued as a suspect. There are too many inconsistencies. This "true crime" youtuber highlights them.

Again objectively he also is above average in the looks dept., but when so many people hate a specific person -> they tend to not want to admit the person is good looking.
Like Lyle and Erik Menendez.
And O.J.

some (hopefully) many of us have different standards for attractiveness. He THOUGHT he was hot because he lost weight but please really look at his face. Murderer or not, I wouldn't give him a second glance. He's not my type and not attractive. I'd give him a solid 5. This is being objective. (thank you very much ) Scott Peterson, also not attractive AT ALL. Friends, you can do better if you are tricking yourself into believing these bland men are above average.
Granted if someone is a decent person they will of course be more attractive but being objective, nope, not hot.

Once someone commits a heinous crime, no one in their right mind would dare compliment them on how nice they look.

I used to think O.J. was a very good-looking man (even during his murder trial), yet five years after he suddenly began to look very ugly to me.
As well as fake.

Just because a guy kills someone does not automatically mean he is immediately ugly.
(That is only if you were not aware that he did that.)

Chris was sexy only after he lost 60lbs. or so, toned up and got fit and tanned.
And Scott Peterson was cute - not necessarily hot.
But cute in a boy next door way.

And O.J. is still a sexy-looking man.
Not as much as when he was younger (but of course!) but sexy indeed.

Yet when you toss in their horrific atrocities > it is tough to compliment them in any manner since inside they are made of steel.
Or better yet, 🧊 ice 🧊

I find your post problematic to read.

All you have are a few videos to form an opinion on a murder victim.
Shannan was trying to take care of her family.
She was generating income to help support her children.
And part of that was advertising on social media.

I hate MLM’s with a passion.
But apparently Shannan chose to go that route so that she could be at home for her children.
Yes, they were spending above their means, yes the girls were in preschool, etc.

But how can you judge someone off just a few videos?
Or financial records??
Imagine if you were judged the same way.

Just like Shannan and Chris, you would have your shortcomings as well.
I can guarantee it.

I was sickened by this monster Watts.

He should have just left his wife. He would have had to pay spousal support as well as child support for three kids but that would have been on him. Instead he killed four souls in the span of one morning. After watching this show on Netflix, I am sure his wife Shannon was likely asleep when he murdered her. Because she seemed like she was a tough cookie. She would have wanted to live for her daughters as well as new baby son. Watts likely killed her when her back was turned and she was asleep.
I cannot even attempt to imagine the horror of Bella and Celeste’s final moments of life. To be snuffed out by the one person who was your security, advocate and dedicated father, words cannot describe. ;( They must have been wondering what they must have done for Daddy to punish them so violently. And I can only hope and pray that they went fast with minimal suffocation. And hope they were deceased prior to being out in those awful oil tanks. If Watts put them inside those while they were still alive, he deserves the same fate. He claims they were deceased when he put them inside. But he lies so much I don’t believe a damn word that escapes his lips.

I hear that he is trying to lawyer up and get himself released because he HATES prison! Hey he is lucky that mercy was given to him & he was not thrown into some narrow oil tank. Because he fully deserves it.

I truly hate that monster.
I hope that the cage he is living in will keep him away from society because only animals, wild animals should be caged!

This! Life with small kids is hectic. Jobs, raising your kids, responsibilities both financial and otherwise can be draining for all of us. With someone like Chris you add the mistress and time with her is all about flirting, ego boosting, nature hikes, sex, no responsibilities. It's amazing how some people can think that life with that person would be a 24/7 version of that. It wouldn't be. Even if they never had kids they would take on their own sets of responsibilities that would be draining. That's why such a large percentage of relationships that begin as affairs FAIL. Life doesn't follow the fantasy...
