Gosh this is so true. The people I know with doodles don’t really know anything about dogs/did not grow up with one and didn’t consider themselves dog people, but their children begged for one. Got a doodle because of the no shedding and it’s what their friends all got. Literally thought they were buying a dog that is 50% poodle and 50% whatever it’s mixed with. They don’t train the dogs and are surprised at their energy level and how much they bark. Their dogs are annoying to be around.

Most recently though, I saw one inside Tysons Galleria being walked by a woman in a white coat with a gigantic fur collar that matched the Samoyed’s coat. It was a bit Cruella, and also the fact that this was last week. Like, April. In Virginia.

Yeah, but their dogs are not cute, and they tend to not train them.
