There are several teams that are in the same boat as NL and would benefit from A level competition. NL wants to be in the A level for ngll, but never plays at that level in any tourneys. Stars, renegades and integrety all play tougher tourney schedules.

All other BLC age/color girls teams are mediocre.

Mediocre is extremely generous. The years that have A division average probably 2 to 3 wins a spring NGLL season and nearly all of the B division teams are even worse, record wise.

They have two teams -- red and blue.

Blue is a decent B+ team. Red is glorified rec at best and may not win a game all year.

Does Next Level have a 2027 team?

Is BLC definitely moving down? They should after going 1-7 last season in NGLL A division. I don’t think they have 2 teams (with one in B division) for 2028 like they do for most years.

I think the 16 team reference is to the 2027 level.

Agree 100% with the poster and their wisdom regarding playing in the “A” division if you can. This is how real lacrosse is played. Dodging, cutting, shooting at corners. Even taking beatings, the learning curve goes up quickly. You don’t get better playing other bad “travel” teams.

The only way NL plays all plays NDA division is if they expand to 16 teams. If they stay with 12, they won't Make that field of teams.

Pride Red and Stars have the most similar schedules and common opponents but won't play each other until NGLL.

will be interesting to see if NL plays A level in NGLL to see how good they are.

I am not certain of the other age groups but the 27s should stay B. They are learning and improving and can likely hang with the lower half of the A bracket but they are a solid B team and should stay there.

If A 2027 go from 12 teams to 16, then maybe they should move up.

You want to play A, you want to learn from the speed and abilities of the Hero's Green, M&D, etc. Scores won't matter as much as getting better. Those lower B teams are essentially REC.
