Yup. Alyssa Naeher stole that penalty goal away from them.

A keeper who saves a penalty is rightfully a hero, no matter the circumstance. But that was a terribly taken penalty, and Naeher didn't have to do much.

Women’s soccer has gotten much, much better in Europe, and there’s much more parity now.
The last five times we’ve played England, there have been four one goal games and one tie. They won one of those games.
England is ranked higher than France.

Bad passing, or not passing by Press should have delivered more scoring.

No England was a better team but the US had the better players.
