Really no way!!!!? So the cougars and olympiacos are a dump because they are located in Annandale. Thank you for the tip. I will definitely not be sending my kid there.?
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:I’d rather go where my kid has better coaching. Congratulations on your high youth soccer ranking.
I guess better youth coaching means college players that olympiacos are saying are from Greece. I guess you are saying two high level coaches(julio) from spain is not good enough. Good luck with the cougars/olympiacos.

This *site* is clearly titled villarreal virginia academy. So it is suppose to be talking about viva right? So please tell me why your are trying to make cougars/olympiacos because nobody wants to play in a odsl league nor play for the cougars.
Because the thread title includes the word "imploding," which would reasonably make parents look for other options.
You did make me curious about the numbers, so here's a survey from YouthSoccerRankings. The Viva U14 boys are their highest-ranked team (4th). Coincidentally, that's the only age group above U10 in which CYC / Olympiacos fields a team as of this spring. That team is 46th, but that ranking is probably sandbagged a bit because they play up in ODSL U15/U16. Sure, they're playing teams with a few points, but they're still losing a few games. They easily beat Viva's second team twice in tournaments, so if you want to compare that to Olympiacos based solely or mostly on results, Olympiacos seems to be the place to be.
Here's the problem for Viva. Did you notice who coached that U14 boys team?

Check again Viva 05 team is 2nd. I know who is coaching. That is why viva 05 team is 2nd because bo is coaching. All these cougars/olympiacos parents saying that cougars/olympiacos is good stop bull shiting me. When you talk about better coaching viva is bringing high levels coaches from spain (julio) compared to cougars/olympiacos bringing college players saying there from Greece.LOL what a joke of a club(cougars/olympiacos).

People are considering other options because VIVA/ABGC have once again shown that they are unorganized and incapable of running a soccer program. Those deciding to stay don't really understand the current soccer landscape in our area and that VIVA/ABGC are a sinking ship and have been on that road for many years. Drive an extra 15 minutes in any direction and you'll give your kids a much better soccer experience.
Why are you on this website? It isn’t about cougars/olympiacos. So please tell me why you are on this site when it is talking about villarreal/viva?
I'm not here b/c of olympiacos, I'm addressing VIVA/ABGC's lack of ability to be competent. In prior pages, someone said they were with VIVA and moving to Olympiacos because of this mess and someone including yourself decided to bash them. This is very related to VIVA/ABGC.
Please read your previous quotes because you are clearly trying to spread cougars/olympiacos. Please tell me why any would want to go to the number 17 team in the state (cougars/olympiacos) because I would rather have my kid go to the number 2 team in the state(viva/villarreal).
Lol @ VIVA being #2 in the state at any age group.

I’m sorry. If they were good enough, you wouldn’t be paying thousands just to wear their colors. I actually quite like Villarreal CF, but this thread has gone from “Bo Amato has a high college recruitment rate” to “my kid will play in La Liga.”
You are really funny ?. Imagine if one word you said was true!! I never said my kid would play in la liga. If anyone’s kid is not good enough for la liga, villarreal would sell the player to a lower division team or even the mls.
Your kid will not be sold by Villarreal either. He won’t even be a part of their structure. You are really deluded?
All I’m saying maybe if he is good enough a pathway opens for him, it may not happen it may happen never know. I guarantee that viva is will be a better program now without abgc up their ass every minute of the day.
let me help you out right now... it will never happen ! he will simply age out of travel soccer. if he is not already playing up at least one age group he won't make it out of travel soccer period.

Viva and Aufc are together but owned by bo and carlos. Abgc is owned by the germains.
Is Trevor involved with any of the three?
Apparently trevor is retiring.
Wow, he is too young to retire. An excellent coach.

Just imagine if bo was actually coaching the game. Because he wasn’t.

It sounds like you're saying that your kid will play in a lower division or MLS at a minimum just because he is at VIVA now and they will look at all the players associated with the program. LOLgood luck buddy!

I'm not the poster you are responding to, but going after Olympiacos like you are is only making you seem petty, defensive, and insecure. Olympiacos practices at Pine Ridge, in Annandale, so they are clearly an option to consider for anyone currently at VIVA.
As for your statement that you'd rather have your kid go to the team with the 2nd most gotsoccer points in the state than the team with the 17th most gotsoccer points in the state - that may be one of the dumbest things I've ever read on this site.
I'd rather send my kid to the team with better coaching.
Bo gets decent results playing direct soccer with man-children. Always has, always will. Doesn't matter what logo you put on the jersey, that's not going to change. If you think I'm wrong about that, please post video.
You are so funny bo has put more kids into college than any coach in the area. If olympiacos is so good why do they only talk about their 05 age group on instagram and your OLYMPIACOS WEBSITE. I will tell you why because Harry karageorge and his rebels have their kids play on the 05 team. They play in the lowest tournaments and lose. They really don’t care about any other team other than the 05’s.
My kid doesn't play for Olympiacos and I have no idea who Harry is.
Bo's good at marketing himself, I'll give him that. He's been around for a long time, won a few state cups. "Put more kids in college than any coach in the area"? That I highly doubt.
Anyway, I did find some video.
Please note that I'm not posting this so people can come on and take cheap shots at the kids. The coach is fair game though IMO. For example, I love the way he has them taking their goal kicks. Yep, you sure can see that La Liga influence all over this team, LOL!
