How long have you crushed on this person? What is it about this person that causes you to have a huge crush?
A little less than a year.
He is genuinely vulnerable - and cares about and seeks out my emotional vulnerability as far as improving as a person. He thinks I’m smart. Constantly connecting with me. Tough to explain.
He is not in my office/city.
Hook up with him and report back.
It has not gone a sexual direction.
Which probably makes me crush harder.
Long distance crush? How do you connect emotionally when you do not physically work together?
There is travel. But also constant communication via email/phone.
Make a separate thread.

Have you tried desensitization therapy? It's when they give you shots with minuscule dozes of the allergen to desensitize your body. It works for many people. Not as easy as getting rid of the dog, though.
Yup, I get shots 2x a week. We have hepatitis filters all over our house, dog isn’t allowed in the bedroom, I don’t bathe him or brush him. We vacuum often. Not sure what else to do.

Is he going out of town anytime soon?

Are you going to get her fired from her new job?
Yes.
