That's pretty rare, unless they're overweight.
I think there are many more 90 year olds who struggle to keep on weight (and are thus often cold) than the opposite. The queen is obviously well taken care of, and at a really good weight. The other elderly women I know who are similarly active, and similarly well proportioned seem to feel temperature the same way that other people do. My 95 year old godmother is a very "proper" lady, former ambassador's wife, and she wouldn't wear a long sleeved dress, long gloves and a coat to go outside in the summer, but maybe it's unseasonably cold in London right now.

A common but beautiful American girl marrying a prince (or really any beautiful girl marrying the world's most eligible prince) is why she is on covers everywhere. It has zero to do with how hard she works or does not work.
According to the kate haters of dcum, Kate is lazy and does nothing but shop, yet is also plastered all over magazine stands everywhere.
It is the combo of a beautiful commoner marrying a handsome prince who America has followed since infancy that gets them on magazine covers.

Yes but she is not a regular middle class girl from California.
She is from Hollywood, where they already live a separate life and live in a different world than the rest of us.
She has shown that she has no issues leaving her old live (pre Hollywood) for something she sees as better. So why would you think she would have issues leaving Hollywood for an even better life?
Besides, as young and as beautiful as she is, she is about at the end of her Hollywood shelf life. She is just not a good enough actress to have the kind of long term career as someone like Meryl Streep or enough of a "type" like Diane Keaton to transition into the limited middle age and older roles available for females. Even if this is a calculating marriage (does not seem like it) she has made a smart next step move.
Moving to Hollywood to make it as an actress is no comparison to joining the British royal family. The difference is like getting into stargazing versus moving to Mars for a space mission.
Actually it seems to prove a great foundation for a flawless transition into royal families.
She knew how to handle the fame, fortune, and publicty from Day 1. I mean the woman had four official working Royal events before she was even married. Appeared in a joint event with the Queen not even a month post-marriage.
She's on every magazine cover from the U.S., to the U.K., to the E.U. THAT'S what star-power and a woman who has a work ethic achieves.

The naysayers amuse the hell out of me because Meghan keeps blowing them out of the water every time they think there's potential fault.
In contrast to this, I say she knows well the wonder of what she signed up for and she won't take it for granted. She's already proving she's a hard worker and the British public loves her for it. Headlines in the US and UK are going to be swifty followed by global interest, starting with the EU and her tour in Australia & Asia-Pacific this October.
Meghan never stops and she won't sit at home + shop for 17 years either. Like I said before, the era of the Duchess of Sussex is going to be awesome.
