We got the admission letter.
We had very good samples of her work from home. That should have helped.. because the DRA isn't very high and the gbrs is pretty low also.
Again, this shows that COGAT is the king.

What were cogat and nnat?
We didn't do those because we were coming from private school....
We came from private school and I interpreted the application to require that we had to get a CogAT and NNAT, which we did at GMU. DC's FSIQ was 127. CogAT was in pool. DC was accepted.

I call bullshit on this, too.
I don't know. We got the NNAT. Didn't receive the CoGAT so just assumed not in pool. Not sure if PP parent referred, teacher referred or was in pool and lost track of the scores.
Oh wait... or you did get a score. So it was crap when you said about fakely assuming the school kept the scores. Save it, lady.
I interpreted this as a different poster. I don't know how they failed to get a Cogat score though.
I'm the second poster who didn't get a CoGAT. I don't know how we didn't, either! I probably should have followed up more but I knew we weren't in pool if we hadn't received notification & I didn't intend to appeal if we didn't get in.
But you got one score, right? And you knew scores were mailed but just didn’t get it (versus the fake “I assume the school keeps the scores” post.

We went from private to public, using only the WISC as well. Our kid got in with a 134 Full scale - the processing speed was actually the worst score and they person who did the test explained that in private schools, the urgency portion is often missing. You may want to retake the WISC, get more samples, recommendations, see if you can bump up. I agree that the GBRS was probably ignored.

Well, in that case, the GBRS is, as far as I can tell from these boards, ignored, and the WISC scores do not seem high enough for admission, particularly looking at the break down. I would have been surprised if your child was admitted based on what I read here.

In
108 nnat
115 cogat
Did Wisc-V and submitted with application. Results were in the 115-125 range except VCI which was at the 99.99% range.
What was the FSIQ?
Looked at the composite scores again. His FSIQ was 120. VCI 146. The others from 106 to 111. So corresponded well with the nnat and cogat. Only thing standing out was the VCI.
What was GBRS?
