This thread is a bunch of nasty, fake mean girls. SJP was live on BFF Andy Cohen’s show doing her gee gosh golly routine the day before Cattrall used social media to send an alert about her missing brother (that’s for the “posting on SM is sooooo tacky!!” crowd.). That’s also why it seems reasonable to me that Cattrall issued a statement about what happened to her brother, and thanks for some condolences. And it’s also why SJP is trash and wannabe slick for posting “Dearest Kim” when she was fresh out from acting out her feud with Cohen dressed, wig and all, as Cattrall, to AGAIN be the victim in their feud. That is so crass and manipulative as is trashing Cattrall. When you’ve públically and gleefully trashed someone on live TV 24 hours before they endure a tragedy, maybe leave them the hell alone? Performative tragedy vulturing is what shitty people do. Unsurprisingly it’s a popular option for think-they’re-classy SATC fans.
I saw the WWHL and had a completely different take on it. I thought SJP handled it well, saying that was not how she recalled it, not that KC was wrong or a liar or whatever.
SJW put on a wig to look like KC??????
No.

+1. I thought that's what most people would do if they had manners.
That’s different. It was a co-worker.
If somebody I hated or caused me harm/grief in the past and I wasn’t in friendly or speaking terms and never planned to be—seeing their condolences very soon after a loved one’s death when I knew it wasn’t sincere would cause me further pain. Not something to inflict on the grieving.
I totally disagree. I would be touched and consider it an olive branch, of sorts.
Are you always this naive?
NP. She must be.

Even Willie Garson and Evan Handler seemed pretty negative about Kim in this latest go-round. When no one comes out and takes your side other than "Blind Gossip", well...
Of course they're not taking her side. She won't do the movie and therefore the rest of them won't get paid. Have you seen Willie Garson or Evan Handler in anything other than SATC? Nope. They'll drag her because she's "taking" money from them. If these people were smart they would kiss her @ss. She doesn't need SATC but the rest of them do and they hate her for it.
Your point would be better made without the hyperbole. Evan Handler has been steadily working since SATC as a regular in a few series (Californication, American Crime Story (Alan Dershowitz wished he looked that good!), and some new series I am blanking on). Willie Garson has, too, (White Collar, Hawaii Five-O, etc.)
And the PP who said SJP needs the money is ridiculous. As an exec producer she made bank, plus she is in a successful HBO series, and has her own production company, and has a shoe line and who knows what else. She and Matthew aren't hurting for cash.
True, but money is money. Everyone wants more and you can't help but be resentful when you feel like someone's taking yours.

You posted twice to make the same point that a gang on the outs with one woman means she’s by definition wrong. Because “sides” are legit if “everyone” is on one side.
Adults posting to support a bullying instinct are repellant.
?? This is the first time I posted in this thread, but whatever.
To assert that she was being "bullied" suits your narrative. Sometimes people are ostracized because they are toxic.
I won't assume to know what the truth is. You don't know the truth either, so get over yourself.
NP. Yeah, I wonder what could po$$ibly motivate Willie and Evan to put pre$$ure on Kim to do another horrible SATC movie.

What if your coworkers leaked fake stories to newspapers about you being greedy and holding up the work?
The "work" ended almost 9 years ago.
I'd say it was time for my former co-worker to let some shit go.

Instead she did it publicly, because she wanted to look like the good guy.
But that's what celebrities do. They all communicate via Twitter.
I read that her other costar who played Miranda also responded to her Instagram and Kim thanked her.
Nope.
Cynthia Nixon called.
She did both. She called her and then responded to the same post SJP did.
