That's right. Because we all know anyone who didn't support Hillary is a dumb, illiterate deplorable. Amirite.

(Why do you get your jollies from throwing out arbitrary insults? That's not a healthy way to live.)

Certainly some kind of critical flaw to not vote HRC in the general. You don't have to like her, but just realize she was the better option.

DP. You mean, because YOU think she was the better option, everyone else has to think so too? You do know that's not how this whole voting thing works, right?

Ok. Let's figure out your critical flaw...pick as many as needed to explain yourself:
5. you're a selfish a-hole (tax cuts)
4. you're a misogynist/homophobe (SCOTUS)
3. you're an idiot (blue dress! email!)
2. you're a racist (wall!)
1. you're a white supremacist/NeoNazi (MAGA)

YOU again? You came up with this ridiculous, insulting list a coule of days ago, and we explained to you how we voted issues. You're back to putting us into a basket of people who you feel are reprehensible people worthy of contempt? You know who else did that with a group of people? Hitler.

Right. Which issue(s) pursuaded your vote? We can learn a lot about you from those.

I've already told you when you used these same attacking approach two days ago. Apparently, you are so convinced of your moral superiorty that you can't process it.

IIRC, you fall under #5, selfish a-hole. But an ignorant one because trickle down doesn't actually work.

If by some miracle the Rs can pull off their "selfish a-hole" tax plan, I will enjoy significant tax savings and will increase donations to Planned Parenthood, ACLU, IRC, etc. So will all of the wealthy Rs. Enjoy your tax "cut" and rising deficit, plebe.

Huh? How do you know that I fall into selfish a-hole category? I didn't tell you my issue! Or, perhaps you remember that I said lowering corporate tax rates was a big driver. That doesn't help me. I don't own a corporation. However, it IS to the benefit of the country as a whole to make it more attractive for companies to set up and stay in this country.

And YOU are criticizing people like me - you with your sanctimonious "plebe" remark, along with a-hole? THIS, my friends, is an example of the hateful, holier-than-thou lowbrow liberal who has invaded DCUM. You disgust me.

+100
The irony truly escapes them, doesn't it? It's sad that they don't realize (or won't realize) why liberals have so alienated reasonable, sane moderates. We want nothing to do with their "my way or the highway" policing of others who don't agree with them.

Well, if you aren't going to answer we are going to have to draw our own conclusions. Guess what they are.

I call BS that you're a Democrat.

DP. Then you'll have to call BS on a lot of us (which I'm sure you'll be happy to do). I was always a Democrat - through college, marriage, and kids. Up until the last years of the Obama administration, in fact. Never, ever again. The Dem. Party is now the party of victimhood, PC run amok, and pandering to illegal aliens. Nope, nope, nope.

I'm with you on this. I'm someone who believes strongly in personal responsibility, and it just got to be too much.

Ha. No. Trump campaigned on the opposite of personal responsibility. His MO is to find a group to scapegoat and blame it for the reason that his base cannot get ahead. It is because of those Mexicans or illegals or bad hombres. And his base eats it up. The lack of personal responsibility that his base exhibits is mind boggling. All while shoving opioids down their gullets.

Well, I'm sorry you find so many millions of Americans to be utterly deplorable. I'm PP, and I didn't vote for Trump. I'm not a Republican. My post didn't concern the presidential election in particular. It was more of a general statement about the Democratic party's message these days.

"I didn't vote for Trump, but...."

Got it, deplorable.

DP, but the nail in Hillary's coffin was her "deplorable" comment. So now you idiots are doubling down on it? Do you WANT to lose the next election?

HRC's absurd comments about white women and their husbands, in addition to this thread, only solidify my decision not to vote for her. HRC and her minions are the most arrogant people I've ever encountered. Democrats certainly aren't going to win in 2020 and they have no one to blame but their own sanctimonious selves for alienating a huge swath of voters. Good riddance.

LOL. As if anyone cares how you vote, deplorable. Go grow a backbone and vote policies.

Yes. You would too if you read enough posts on here. Some idiot conservative yells "racist" anytime someone brings up an innocuous discussion about race. Just to be spiteful that liberals say that some Trump supporters are racists. Guess for that poster the truth hurts.

Bullshit. "An innocuous discussion about race"?? Sure, I guess blacks saying ugly things about whites is "innocuous" to you. Don't try and spin this as one conservative "playing the race card." Liberals, including you, are constantly accusing ALL Trump voters of being racist, and you know it. "Racist" is liberals' favorite word because using it against people they disagree with makes them feel superior, sanctimonious, and self-righteous, and we all know how much you enjoy playing your smug card.

If you plan on continuing to blame white people for the problems that plague the black community, then don't play the victim card when you're called out on it. Own your own issues rather than blaming others for them - as usual.

Why do you think the posters were black??

You're cute. You actually take HRC's words as gospel, re: her proclaiming she lost because "men told their wives to vote for Trump" (among many other reasons she uses to explain her loss.

Pretty sure you read the recent thread discussing just that, and all of the fantastic responses from conservative women, debunking that idiotic "theory." If you didn't read it, you should. Educate yourself. You liberals are the biggest sexists of all. Who else would assume women can't think for themselves?

And finally - equating Trump to Hitler? Talk about deplorable. Go back to high school and learn some basic history.

Hillary wasn't taking about all women, she was talking about white women. Remember black women overwhelmingly voted to protect themselves. White women voted according to their husbands' interests. Who else better to call them out than former white woman in chief who spent years working and supporting and voting according to her husbands interests? Don't try to make your pathology everyone else's problem. Own it.

Also Trump is very reminiscent of Hitler's early days and rise to power. And Trumpkins represent the racist majority who voted him into power. History will look unfavorably upon you. Your children's children will be ashamed of your actions.

No, black women voted for Hillary because blacks vote for the Democrat well over 90% of the time.

Yes and we do that to protect ourselves. the Republican Party does not serve our interests AT ALL so they don't receive our votes. Voting against your interest is reserved for poor whites... and white women in general apparently.

Putting aside your apparent disdain for white women, I'll point out the correct vote is not one that represents your own interests (that would be selfish) but rather what is best for the country as a whole. They are not always the same thing.

Yes because white women voting to protect the interests of rich white men is exactly what this country needs. As if they haven't been coddled for centuries. You vote according to what you think is best for you, and I'll do the same for myself.

You really have it out for white people, don't you? You're quite the racist.

Another whiny white "conservative" pulling the race card. Did you guys come to end of your talking points sheet?

Funny how the *constant* liberal accusations of "Racism!!" are just fine with you guys, but when a conservative points out (correctly) that someone is racist, they're "playing the race card." Explain that one to us. Oh, never mind. It's just your usual liberal hypocrisy at work.

You know I'm just going to be honest. I was enjoying the interesting content brought up while going back and forth with you guys but it can be so hard to have an honest conversation with you people because you're just sooooo sensitive! Finally we were having a frank discussion about where certain demographics went wrong and how you guys became so misguided. But it's like if you try to speak your mind and say what everyone is you guys shout "RACISM" all over the place and shut the discussion down.

We could get some really great conversations going if you people weren't so sensitive all the time.

Really? I find it so interesting that you considered that a "frank and honest" conversation when it was you proclaiming over and over that WHITE women - especially poor, WHITE women - were to blame in every way. This, coming from a liberal who takes any mention of black people to be racist. So when you're called on your own blatant racism, you think calling people "misguided, sensitive, and whiny." Liberals, how does it feel to be accused of racism?

Get back to us when you understand the meaning of "don't dish it out if you can't take it." Talk about whiny, misguided, and sensitive.

So true. Why are blacks allowed to come up with prejudicial remarks against whites, while simultaneously complaining that whites are biased against blacks? If they don't like racism, maybe they shouldn't be participating in it themselves.

Which posts are these? How do you know the posters are black?

Still waiting on an answer to this.....

Agree, I've found that when a black person is explaining to me all the ways in which white people continue to wrong them, they feel they "we are getting somewhere" as long as I nod my head and agreement and accept that whites are entirely to blame. But if I introduce something that I feel blacks could do to better their situation (in other words, not play the victim role exclusively), then I'm all of a sudden I'm a racist.

I just find it interesting that the conservatives posters are whining about being called racist when they are the ones who pulled the race card out first and crying out about people being racist for just trying to talk about race in a frank manner. You people love to dish it out but you can't take it.

Have fun in your homogenous white and poor bubble. The immigrants are taking all your jobs yet you don't want to interact or learn for them because "doh! Racism!"

This is quite accurate. These people don't focus on politics in their everyday life. What they know is that the system isn't working for them, and Hillary offered more of the same.

I was hoping for change, but not the Trump sort of change. HRC was more of the same, but not a huge step backwards like DJT. Wrong kind of change.

Fascinating.

Working class whites in place like rural PA just wanted change. I truely believe that they would have voted for Bernie over scumbag Trump if he had won the primary. People just wanted big change. They are too busy figuring out how to pay for healthcare, food etc to take the time to understand much. Trump is not my president he conned Americans and continues to do so. This is what happens when public education goes down the drain and the middle class shrinks.

This is quite accurate. These people don't focus on politics in their everyday life. What they know is that the system isn't working for them, and Hillary offered more of the same.
