Anonymous wrote:Yes jasmine tea is the best with sautéed vegetables. I have once tried it in Ulan Batur. But really don't know where it grows.

I agree. I mentioned somewhere upthread that this is never a problem for me, and someone replied that the frequency with which this occurs is irrelevant to the conversation. Crazy.
I think people are just bitter, and this is their moment to have a weekly "holier than thou" moment. I do think that some of these people are parents who are complaining because they've done all the "hard work" of parenting their children "properly" and want some kind of societal pat on the back by making up incidents of kids running around $150 / plate restaurants.
Yeah, that's definitely it![]()
I think it is. I hear this crap all the time. You're a wonderful parent and everyone else sucks by comparison. Society is going to hell in a handbasket, but you're doing your part. Why can't more people be like you. It must be because they're lazy.
Whine, whine, whine.
Yes you hear it because it's largely true. Free range children. Hmphf.
In my view the same thing that happens to free range chickens should happen to free range children
Sorry what happens to free ranging chicken? And also I still didn't get the answer to my question about where does tea come from? Sorry I was a SN kid back in the days. Thanks in advance.
NP Free range chickens get their heads cut off. Tea comes from little bags that you submerge in boiling hot water, just like you submerge a beheaded chicken in boiling hot water so that the feathers are easier to remove.
You made me even more confused! How does boiling water make it easier for feathers to come out? Sorry pardon me. Like I said I was a SN kid. Sorry.
Hot water opens the pores of the dead chicken so that feathers are released. Then you can gut the chicken, chop
it into at least 8 pieces, and bake it in an oven at 350 degrees for 37 minutes. If you want to pour half a glass of the wine you are drinking over the chicken, that's cool.
A personal quibble: meat is not baked but roasted. If something is changing (i.e. rising) then it is baking. Solid forms like vegetables or meat are roasted.

And then I gave birth to a wonderful, adorable little boy with non-visible special needs. We rarely go out to eat, but sometimes my husband's relatives basically force us by taking offense if we don't come to their events at restaurants.
My son cannot sit still and becomes easily agitated. He calms himself by running up and down the aisles of restaurants and through tables. Everyone takes a turn going to follow him and make sure he does not get in trouble, but I know he still disruptive to other diners. He is trying his best and so are we, his parents. But it is very hard.
