I'm sure they've had meetings. We are so naive to underestimate how entrenched and well organized those groups are. I do believe they are not the majority of arlingtonians. They have a disproportionate sway over county policy.

Right, I know- I was asking whether anyone knows where the County is on the process of deciding how the property will be used.
I thought bus storage etc....
I don't know. I was asking where they are because, in thinking about writing to the Board to urge them to make more land available to APS, I thought of that specific parcel (in addition to the Carlin Springs one discussed above).
I think that is a good idea.

We need a full High School utilizing the entire space of the entire parcel.
I can't think of anywhere else in Arlington where that type of space is available - unless maybe around the Pentagon area??

I didn't know VHC is offering up 12 acres at their South Arlington site!

If it is, what are APS and the County waiting for?
Patrick Henry is an elementary school that will house the Montessori program. Even if they weren't using it as such- that and the career center are nowhere near the space needed for a fourth high school.
