If a god loves all and is all good, why would this god deny a good-hearted atheist a space in make-believe heaven?
And where is this in the bible? or - better yet, in another primary source?
And I'm saying God is fulfilling the deep conviction of the atheist. You don't want any part of God or heaven, you expect to close your eyes for eternity and blink out? OK, well then go for it. It wouldn't be painful or sad or disappointing, just nothingness. So what's the problem? And they wouldn't have to deal with all those high and mighty religious people either.
It's the perfect ending.
You don't find your posting the least bit ironic?
How so? After death the atheist experiences exactly what he/she professes it will be. We're not talking about someone who is agnostic - who isn't certain either way.
The high and mighty part? Yeah, maybe.

The God I believe in is not petty. Nor he needs us to save Him or make others believe in Him. He can handle it by Himself or Herself. Thank you very much.
where do you think the atheists' souls go after they die?
not pp. I think if a person chooses to deny God even up to the point of death (who knows if there's opportunity afterward) then that person will exist for eternity apart from Him. This would seem like a win-win for atheists, they don't believe they spend eternity with Him after death and they don't.
uh
So if an atheist spends much of his/her life doing charity work, for example, and working at humanitarian nonprofits, once s/he dies, your god would be that petty?
lol
so much for a loving god
But theoretically an atheist wouldn't care, right? An atheist is bound and determined to have the lights go out and that's it. So why are you worked up if a fairy-tale believin' loon thinks an atheist can choose not to go on after death?

Are you saying you'd like a primary source for Christian theology that is NOT the Bible? What on earth would that be?
You tell me!
If I expect that all students learn how to research by finding CREDIBLE sources, why would I expect anything less of an "educated" adult pushing his/her religion?
Everything has a source, yes? And sources - credible ones - are backed up by other credible sources.
Would you trust a news article that came from only one source?
again - blind faith . . .

The Bible, in a sense, is hearsay, written by people who tell us what they heard from God (aka Allah or Yahweh) or Jesus. On the other hand, we all have access to the actual Word of God -- i.e. the universe itself. In a way, the true priests are the scientists who spend their lives trying to unravel the meaning of God's Word.

Yeah, and they think believing in Batman is outside of the norm?
If I had been raised in a home where Batman was our savior, a painting like this would be revered, yes?
lol
