9) Appletree CH (Pretty sure thing if we wait until August)
10) Lee Montessori (?)
Also Lamb (12% if we wait until August), Stokes (0%), and SHIning Stars (30%)
My priorities are Spanish immersion (one or two way), followed by Montessori with adjustments for proximity and skewed perceptions of program quality. I have also included my estimated odds of getting into each as a one shot based on fact, rumor, and innuendo.
So why didn't you include Oyster on your list? If you're going for immersion, why not go for the best and most established?
Because Oyster may be the most established SI, but LAMB is arguably the best.

Yet, OOB kids are admitted EVERY year. Imagine that!
ones who are not spanish-dominant? or are not fake spanish-dominant?
Good question. Yes, that has definitely been a problem at Oyster. However, if this year’s PK class is any indication, the principal appears to FINALLY be cracking down on the fake-Spanish dominant families. The crop of kids that I have met seem to come from homes where Spanish is (gasp) actually spoken. Many of these kids have also attended bilingual preschools, so their Spanish is really strong. I hope this trend continues.
I did not expect such an obnoxious response (meaning the first PP above). I had heard on these very boards that OOB for PK4 if you are English dominant is a wasted spot because even IB kids don't get it. Didn't mean to put out false info, just what I had heard.
You did not specify language dominance in your original post. Yes, OOB English-dominant for PK is definitely a wasted spot.
