He's literally holding the injured man's artery in his thumb and forefinger. The man's name is Carlos Arredondo, and he has an amazing story:
He's an immigrant from Costa Rica. His son was killed in Iraq. In distress, Carlos set himself on fire. He survived, only to be beaten by a right wing during an anti-war protest in DC. In 2011, his other son committed suicide. And now, an incredible hero, helping save this man's life (the man in the photo with two severed legs is believed to survive)

You can claim bigotry all you like. It does not change the fact that 9/11 was perpetrated by Muslim extremists. Actually, it's pretty ignorant for anyone to suggest otherwise.
What does your comment have to do with getting pissed when the PP sees a mosque??? What else is the connection aside fom pure ignorance and bigotry painting all Muslims as the same?
He's not doing that. Mosques remind him of extremist Muslims - not a far leap. I don't think you'll find them in Synagogues.

However, it would be nice if the same sensitivity was shown to our veterans, other religious groups and those on the right. At this time we have no idea of the identity or morivation of the perpetrator of this dreadful act. Can the sniping and bigotry on this forum not abate even in the midst if tragedy?

Has anyone considered that this might be the North Koreans?
Too competent to be North Korean.
This is domestic. It's far Right, militia stuff. OKC happened on April 19, which is Patriots' Day. It's the day that the American Revolution started at Boston Commons. MA celebrates Patriots' Day on the third Monday in April, instead of on the actual date. The Marathon is scheduled to coincide with Patriots' Day. Today is an important date for domestic far Right terrorists.
They also set fire to the JFK presidential library. That's not the act of someone who loves Democrats or liberal policies.
The design of the bomb may also point to a returning military vet. They see a lot of those in Iraq. They have brain injuries and/or PTSD and/or a lot to be pissed off about.
McVeigh was a Gulf War vet, BTW.
In Iran they use 100's of pounds of military grade explosives. The death would have been in the 100s. Those explosions leave craters and structural damage.
