Do you know why she didn't question whether her father was her bio dad?

My mother was an abusive alcoholic who moonlighted as a prostitute when times got tough. She would have the men right in our house after my brother and I went to bed. We lived in a very tightknit, lower middle class suburb of Buffalo, NY where everyone knew everyone, and of course my mother's transgressions were no secret to the neighbors. My brother and I were taunted constantly. Thank God we moved away from that neighborhood after a few years. I've never shared that particular tidbit, but I'm tempted sometimes because one of my mother's "clients" was David Hasselhoff, who happened to be in Buffalo doing a play at the Studio Arena Theater. I am so amused by that and woud love to share it, but then I'd have to admit that my mother was a shameless whore.

I could be wrong but isn't the statute of limitarions different in child molestation cases? I am so sorry and I know how difficult it is to ge over one rape and I can't imagine two.

Never told anyone about either one until it came out during marriage counseling with my wife a few years ago -- I'm 42 now. The teacher has retired. I was too afraid tell anyone -- thought it would be devasting on my family in small, southern town.

She is, though her and my brother are now divorced, I am very close to my nephews whom I took care of when I was a teen (which is when it happened).
