St Mary's over Severn
SPSG over Mercy
Maryvale over RPCS
McDonogh over John Carroll
Spalding over NDP
I don’t see Mercy beating SPSG but I definitely could see Severn beating St Mary’s.

McDonogh is vulnerable to losing in playoffs, especially due to injuries. But they seem like the only team that can hope to give Maryvale a game.
Dunno if it's Maryvale hoarding talent or what, but it seems like a down year in the IAAM. Some of the teams that look like they should preform on paper are really struggling, specifically SPSG and Spalding as of late. These team don't seem a lot of these teams playing together well. And have assisted goals always been so unpopular in this league?
I don’t know what games you have watched this season or in the past but most teams have a good balance of assisted to unassisted goals scored. Some teams are more ISO heavy than others but with zones being played more often and quicker slides in man defense, feeding is as good as it has been in the last 4 years.
As a parent with a student in the IAAM I have watched almost all of them and have not seen good or consistent feeding outside of maybe Maryvale because their top player likes to feed. Maybe you're seeing more because of the defense your DDs team plays.

Lost by one. 9-8
Wow. Darien way overrated then.
No slight to SPSG, but I agree that Darien is way overrated. After seeing them play SPSG, and most of their game against St. Anthonys, it's clear to me that Maryvale is without a doubt #1 team in the country. I don't know why MV chose to play such a weak out of conference schedule when this is the year they could have beaten most of the perennial powers and shown without a doubt they're #1.
That said, I do think MV is beatable but whoever makes it to the end with them in the IAAM better be solid on the draw and have a good defense or it will be a blow out.
Interesting. How did they beat St. Anthony's then?
