Of course violence in private schools can happen, but is far, far less likely than in public schools. My kids have been in private school their whole lives and have never experienced a lockdown or any other type of violence in school. Meanwhile at least some type of violence happens several times a year at the “best” MoCo schools.

You do understand that we all make decisions in our everyday lives without any guarantee of a certain outcome, but where the underlying probabilities of potential outcomes are nonetheless materially different?

This is exactly why we went private. It’s not about college, but about cultivating a love for learning.
