This was in Portland. Not far from Boston.

Are you saying the audience was majority Bostonians and not Mainers?

More signs that Trump’s authoritarian actions are breaking American democratic values. Ken Paxton who is running for Senate in Texas has threatened to jail his potential Democratic rival.

In Texas, a Senate Race Turns Brutal Before It’s Even Declared
Attorney General Ken Paxton is waging “legal war” against Beto O’Rourke, a possible Democratic rival, threatening jail and an investigation that could bankrupt his organization.

Crap. Any other Republican candidate looks better than her right now in Iowa. This is bad news for the Democrats.

Democrats are getting crushed in fundraising, with only $15M in the chest compared to Republicans’ $80M

That’s just the DNC vs. the RNC, so it’s not as significant as you’re making it out to be when it doesn’t include the DSCC, the DCCC, the DLCC, all the individual campaigns, PACs, SuperPACs, etc. etc. The DNC specifically has a branding problem that the RNC doesn’t have, which may or may not extend to every Democratic individual and organization.

Meh. You could show us all a thousand hours of GOP drama hate ads at this point and it would not have any effect. Anyone that walks into the grocery store or tries to buy pretty much anything, or needs a job or has a family member that needs a job, or is sending a kid to school or needs medical care or who needs to get a car, and on and on and on is having problems. We need to get rid of this current garbage situation, political ads or no political ads.

That doesn't bother me too much. Dems are weak on messaging at the moment, but are very capable of mobilizing behind strong candidates and GOTV for key elections. We just need to make sure those strong candidates are identified and have the resources behind them.

The Iowa Dem candidate outpolled Joni Ernst today. There's hope there.
