Flying tomorrow out of Newark of all places. Not nervous at all! Can’t wait to get to London and Amsterdam.

When Fox News host Martha MacCallum asked if he had any additional information from the Pentagon about the flyover, Duffy said, “I don’t.

MacCallum noted she didn’t understand why the Pentagon “hasn’t gotten back to you on this yet. But we hope they sure do soon.”

“So do I,” Duffy replied.

When the Transportation Secretary can't get a response from the Pentagon, what does that tell you about how well this country is being run? Hegseth is so concerned about preserving his image as a competent SecDef, that everything else comes second.

I feel much safer flying with fewer unqualified DEI hires working at the air traffic control towers.

Hi Pete? How's it going?

How do you know for sure that there are "fewer unqualified DEI hires working at the air traffic control towers"?

After last week's incident during which an Army helicopter two commercial passenger jets landing at National Airport to shift course, Sean Duffy can't get the Pentagon to respond to his inquiries about the incident. The Trump administration disfunction is going to cost more lives.

Somehow the Trump admin doesn't realize that firing a whole bunch of staff at agencies that are barely hanging on doesn't cause improvement.

I'm sure the Pentagon has a few billion they could share.

I take comfort in the fact the FAA is run by someone from Road Rules.

Just another indication that the richest, most powerful country on earth is seriously fraying at the edges. Our physical infrastructure has been decaying for decades and isn't being repaired or replaced fast enough. Our air traffic control system is severely strained. Our railroad system is a joke compared to many European and Asian countries. Now the Trump administration and DOGE are coming in to hack to death our government, our research sector, our public health and safety safeguards, our social safety net, and so much more. It didn't have to be this way.

I don’t care. The way are trying to keep us scared and in this crazy country. I am getting out of here in 2 months. Also, my father flies non-stop. I have been flying since 8 weeks. Never once had a problem. If it’s my time then it is my time.
