When Zuck spoke about “masculine energy,” I didn’t catch what he meant by it. I mean, my workplace has always been dominated by males, particularly in leadership. Only now is my organization taking sexual harassment, etc, seriously, so I’m really trying to understand this “masculine energy” thing.
Given that his immediate response was to cut DEI and moderating harassment of women and LGBTQIA+ , it seems to mean getting rid of the notion that people should be respectful to each other at work.
No, it doesn’t. It simply means that those avenues for achieving a goal of a respectful office weren’t necessary or effective.

Here's more of the quote and context:
“Masculine energy I think is good, and obviously society has plenty of that, but I think that corporate culture was really trying to get away from it,” Zuckerberg said during a nearly 3-hour-long conversation with podcaster Joe Rogan, published on Friday.
“It’s like you want feminine energy, you want masculine energy,” Zuckerberg said during the episode of The Joe Rogan Experience. “I think that that’s all good. But I do think the corporate culture sort of had swung toward being this somewhat more neutered thing.”
That still doesn’t answer the question of what “masculine energy” means, and what was neutered?

Did the virus know when we are protesting and when we are partying?
Protesters were being arrested for ignoring social distancing rules. Again, this was a matter of local law enforcement so not sure what it has to do with this thread. This is also something that was happening around the world and not just in the US.
