What does Capital need to do better? If your daughter can make Capital Blue, why would you not choose to go if playing high level lacrosse in College is the goal? They seem to be a recruiting machine and a great opportunity for like minded athletes (all who want to play at the next level) to compete together against top competition right off the bat. They get in top brackets, have a coordinator that only has to focus on a few teams, many years end up better than top teams that have been together since 3rd/4th grade…, and don’t have some kind of middle school legacy to chase after… 50/50 is very normal in recruiting years.

Seems like a great opportunity when it becomes all about recruiting if your kid can make it. What am I missing?

Agreed. Do what is best for your kid whether that be staying at M&D DC or going to Capital. Do not be pressured by other parents/coaches.
