OP here. This is how the real world works. Many women look to a man as a provider. Most men feel the sense that they need to be the provider. I’m surprised older people on this forum don’t understand that or understand men. No wonder there are so many unhappy bitter women on this thread.
You sound like a real peach. No older women are not unhappy or bitter. I would rather be alone with a bear than you. Btw, I've been happily married for thirty years so not bitter, alone or unhappy.
But if you were dating MY daughter I would encourage her to say NOPE
OP here. I’m just saying like it is. I’ve been on this forum for about 2 weeks before posting. I noticed most of the threads are about cheating, how much women hate their husbands, and how unhappy they are in their marriage and want a divorce. I also realized majority of people on this thread are middle aged women.
Women who are happy don't post about how happy they are. But, older women do have every right to be bitter considering how men have been treating women for years. But, no we have to have a smile on our face as we are raped, murdered or cheated on.
I hope your gf says no. I am not encouraging my dds to marry. It is a bad deal for them.
OP here. You’re dramatic. Men are the majority victims of violent crime. Women also cheat just as much as men. Next.
Ah OP has revealed himself to be Andrew Tate. That tracks with his posts.
OP here. I have many male friends who have been victims of violent crimes and gun violence. Far more than women. I’m not saying women aren’t victims of a crimes, but statistically, men are far more likely to be a victim of a violent crime. More men are also homeless, incarcerated, commit suicide, etc., than women.
I’m nothing like Andrew Tate. If you think this, you know nothing about Andrew Tate. I believe in monogamy, my girlfriend isn’t my property, and I’m not a sex trafficker.
Whatever point you are trying to make - I’m not sure - completely ignores that males COMMIT the vast majority of violent crime. They are, statistically, the perpetrators. Even taking into account reporting biases, there is a huge discrepancy.
So yeah. Poor men.

My parents have told me to not let her get away, as well as many of my closest friends. My girlfriend and I have had a great relationship but I’m just not ready. I love her but I feel 1 year is too short to make a lifelong commitment, and I don’t see the rush.

OP here. There are many other articles that refute that and say men are far more likely to be victims of violent crimes. Men are still more likely to
- lose custody battles
- go to jail for not pay child support but women don’t.
- go to jail for SA, while female predators getting a slap on the wrist. The increase of female teacher predators is alarming, and most are given extremely light sentences. The media also never calls it SA. It’s always “ had sex or had a relationship”. Call it what it is.
- become homeless. Very little shelters or help for men.
- Commit suicide.
- Not taken seriously in domestic abuse situations.
- Men are far more likely to be in jail and get harsher sentences than women.
Again, I called it like it is. Most of the posts on here are about cheating, how they hate their husbands, how they want a divorce, etc. Lots of bitter people on here. That’s why I only too advice from a select number. Why would I take advice from people on here who clearly couldn’t choose a correct partner and are unhappy, cheating, or divorced?
Well, I have been happily married for thirty years.
Women are severely punished for their crimes. Haven't you heard of woman dating men who deal drugs and they get prosecuted simply because they were with them?
Men are victims but women are more likely to be murdered by their boyfriends and husbands.
You don't provide any stats to back you up but you don't believe in mine. Sounds you believe in 'alternative facts'
The more you write the more red flags you throw up. I wish I could warn you girlfriend.
