What’s the alternative?
Well, the groom's family has stated that he is ONLY in a relationship with Abby, and people have noted that at the wedding, he only paid attention to Abby and only kissed Abby. I think it would be pretty unbearable for Brittany if they were having sex with Josh (because they share a vagina) and he only paid attention to her Abby's head and upper body. Or even if he only really spoke to Abby, only kissed her, was only tender with her.
Some people have speculated that because of the bigamy issue, Josh has to act like he has no relationship with Brittany. I just hope that in private, he acts like a husband to both of them.

It has to be exhausting at some point because wouldn’t you just want a break from your sibling. Obviously they’ve made it work and have coped with it into adulthood but wow it makes my head spin just thinking about it

If there’s a stomachache do they both feel it? If Brittany broke her leg would Abbey feel it? But then if one has a headache, is it just one of them feeling it? Where is that “line”?

Life is complicated enough for these two. For practical reasons, marriage isn't feasible.
Three's a crowd.
You don't know anything about these ladies. They have been publicly saying since they were teens that they wanted to get married and have kids. They obviously understand how complicated that is but also, they dont know any different. They dont know a life apart. We can't possibly put our understand and expectations of a relationship on their unique situation.

I watched these beautiful and brave girls on their TLC show. How wonderful that Abby has found love.
Abby, 34, is now married. According to public records, Abby, a teacher, and Josh Bowling, a nurse and United States Army veteran, tied the knot in 2021. The sisters also shared photos of the wedding on social media. The couple live in Minnesota, where the Hensels were born and raised.
The sisters are both teaching fifth grade in Minnesota.
I mean...obviously?
Surprising. I knew one was a fifth grade teacher in Minnesota. But I thought the other was a rodeo clown in New Mexico.
Omg THANK YOU. I am still laughing out loud.

She is also having sex during those times.
So Brittany had to be on board with this relationship.
Has no one else here ever dissociated? So odd.
No, I have not dissociated.
But I just read a whole forum in which young adults talked about wetting themselves because they "dissociate" while staring at their phones or playing video games, and were incredulous that most people don't experience this.
If you’ve ever had sex and fantasized about someone, other than who you’re with, that is a form of disassociation.
Cool. I've never done that.
