If you're claiming Democrats would've handled Covid better, your evidence is that we would've had way more, way longer lockdowns (dont work), would've destroyed the economy more, would've had even more authoritarianism, and yet more people died under Biden in the same amount of time than Trump (story was conveniently buried by MSM media).
We can just recall the simple story of when Trump banned flights from China, Democrats screamed saying it was "racist" to do so, so therefore we can infer Democrats wouldnt have done that, and we'd have an even worse problem on our hands. The other evidence is our Border was completely open upon Day 1 of Biden, where Covid (according to Democrats) was still a thing, but allowing the border to be open superseded any Covid concerns.
Should we recall the Floyd riots? Floyd riots were "allowed" by Democrats but kids sporting events were not. Concern for Covid was immediately dismissed when it came to protests and thousands clustering together, but HS Softball was not allowed to be played. GTFOH, any rational person looks back and knows the hypocrisy.
You can look to two specific data points.
1) how did Obama handle Ebola when it was a real threat?
2) What did Trump do with the "pandemic playbook" left by presidents Bush and Obama?

In some ways I’m better off, but not in all. I’m not going to try to hold politicians responsible for my husband dying.
Remember when Trump bailed out Cuomo because he spent money for ventilators on other things?

The truth is that he had raised tariffs (FYI they are taxes paid by Americans) which triggered a trade war that collapsed farm exports and broke supply chains (or supply change, according to Trump) even before Covid. Trump & Republicans hadn’t passed appropriations for 2019 in 2018 so Pelosi had to rescue his dumb ass and work out the deal with McConnell and Mnuchin while Trump watched TV and tweeted idiotic stuff. Then once Covid hit, Pelosi had to work out the Covid unemployment and assistance package while Trump clownishly denied there was a problem.

But four years later, I personally know more people, including teens, dead from fentanyl. I’ve been assaulted by drugged-out homeless people in my formerly safe neighborhood. I always loved my neighborhood but I’ve realized that the home I assumed I would retire in is probably not going to be safe for two elderly people alone.
So I don’t know.
How is Trump going to fix that?
Income inequality worsened significantly during his tenure.
"The distance separating America’s highest and lowest income brackets grew by almost 9 percent annually under Trump. That growth is faster than in previous periods. From 1990 to 2015 growth was about 7 percent — a period that included three recessions."

On opioid addiction, Trump had some early success but then wanted to gut the Office of National Drug Control Policy by over 90%. When he was told that was politically a death wish, he then refused to have the agency create a strategy for over two years. Also, cutting the ACA affects drug overdoses.
Trumps record: "But in 2019, the number of overdoses surged again to a new record with more than 50,000 opioid-related fatalities. The CDC's preliminary data shows another big increase in deaths during the first four months of 2020."

Real wages went up noticeably under Turnip. Around 10% on average including for the working classes. Under Biden real wages have gone down. It's only in the last year that it's reversed course somewhat, but measured across the last three and half years, real wages are still lower than in 2019 for most Americans. That is why so many people say the economy is bad, because for them they have seen a decline in buying power due to inflation. Income disparity is only one part of a larger economic picture and harping on it is missing the forest for the trees. People aren't so concerned about income disparity if *everyone's* income is going up faster than inflation. Which is what happened during the Turnip years.
On a personal level I am definitely better off than four years ago due to significant growth in stock funds and equity in my property and a new job that came with a big salary increase. On the flip side, I definitely still feel the effect of inflation and I can't afford to move up as the real estate market went bonkers, and now we have 7.65% interest. So there are pros and cons.
But I am not making my voting decision this year based on economic issues.

Corporations raised prices bec of covid
Prices have not come down bec of CEO's getting paid massive payouts.
They are raking it in.
This has nothing to do with Biden learn civics and econ.
It is going to get way worse.
Then again it will get even more worse with Trump's across-the-board tax of 60% and oh gee Chinese tariffs that failed last time, and no food bec he will deport everyone that does those jobs, etc...Plus Republicans will shut down the government in October so... won't that be fun too.
Dunno. When Turnip was prez we didn't have rapid inflation but real wage gains. This is documented facts.
Look at the scale of fed spending. Biden's IJIA unquestionably fueled inflation, along with the massive government stimulus spending due to COVID.
When Trump left office, the national debt was up 25%, grocery stores were empty and people were dying in the street. Fun times!
This. But now, everything's open and busier than ever.
Fool. 4 year's ago is not talking about post-March 11th 2020. It's talking about Pre-Pandemic 3.5 yrs. Clearly the country was a lot better across the board. The category of Crime alone is so much worse any debate ends there. Then go to gas prices and it's beyond a mercy ruling blowout. Any argument against that is just being partisan because you can't admit the truth to yourself.

The debate ends there if you're simple-minded.
The Country was better across like 10 categories. Only a Latte Liberal would disagree and call Kitchen table issues "simple-minded", those that don't look at their bills or their safety or what's going on in schools today.
Name them and describe how Trump enabled them and Biden disabled them.
I'll list Crime. Democrats are soft on crime, the evidence for this can fill up the ocean, NYC being the easiest evidence. Biden is a bystander in all of this, because any sane person would call out the Crime that is taking place at record levels all over cities, but he won't because he's beholden to Progressives, so he won't do it. Unless he's incompetent and doesnt want to see it, take your pick.
But we can point Biden right at DC's crime infestation if you'd like since that's in his backyard.
The Invasion at the Border. This is ALL Biden. Even a good % of Democrats on DCUM acknowledge this, we all know the truth. The deniers like you just need to have it beat over your head, just like when everyone else was pointing out the Border disaster, and liberals said "it's not a problem," until Democrats themselves admitted "It's a problem, but it's Republicans fault." So now there is a problem, when people like you I'm sure said there wasnt. Braindead. Would love to meet someone like you in person so that your liberal bubble pops and you hear it from real people.
That's two things. BTW, what crime is the federal government enabling? You understand that Biden is not responsible for the crime in DC, right? The crimes they are responsible for in DC (e.g., Trump's Insurrection) has been followed up on.
So even though your list is already catastrophically flawed, what about eight more things?
The crime being enabled by rhetoric from Democrats that has carried over to ever Democrat city. Remember Defund the Police? Even better, where is Biden on recognizing the record-setting levels of crime cities are experiencing and calling it out? I think if you did a poll on DCUM, 95% of people would say crime in DC has NOT been followed up on, and a large reason why it continues. Have you been carjacked yet?
OF course you call it flawed, you're just a liberal latte in denial. Biden reversed Trump's immigration policies on Day 1, and we have an invasion at the border and rest of the country that we've never seen before.
You're someone that needs something bad to happen to them in person or someone you know to recognize how much worse we are today.
