UVA is one of, if not the, most competitive public universities in America. Faculty would kill themselves to work there. People are buying what they are selling. Compare to Florida, which is quickly becoming the refuge of the brain dead and desperate.

The opposite of “woke” is asleep. The opposite of diverse is homogenous. The opposite of inclusive is exclusionary. So what exactly do you support?

This really isn't a LW vs. RW issue. I'm not sure how many conversations you've had with people across the political spectrum on this, but it's not as clear cut as you're representing it. There's large scale fatigue here.

No it is just common sense. People want equal opportunity not equal outcomes. No one wants a surgeon or pilot who got their position because of the color of their skin and/or gender. They want someone who can operate effectively or fly and land the plane safely.
