I thought it was a SCAM??!! What happened? Now AC Milan is a Scam too?
Yes, they are a scam in the sense they are lending their name to something that has zero to do with their professional club. Same happens with Barca, PSG, etc. The uneducated consumer thinks they are getting something they are not. There is no fast track for little Timmy becoming a pro by dumping a bunch of cash on a pro team's jersey and tote bag. And, the people at AC Milan know that, but are more than willing to lend out their name for a quick buck from parents who have no clue what they are doing with their kids' soccer development...or lack thereof.

Yet another European club attempting to cash in on the American youth soccer market.
Anonymous wrote:Agreed. Who cares if the kids are having fun and learning. Btw $2k is a steal at Disney. I think we spent just over ten. I would put $2k down or more for camps with higher coach to participant ratio.

Can't blame them.
People are spending $750 for 4 day 'overnight' summer camps all around the DMV. Glorified baby-sitting.
I'm really tired of these posters who act like every soccer related activity has to be in furtherance of some endgame. How about overnight soccer camp can be fun and rewarding even if kids don't become pros because of it? Lots of folks also spend $1K for 5 nights of outdoor camp without thinking their kid is the next Bear Grylls. (This comment is referring to soccer summer camps and does not state an opinion on AC Milan Virginia)
Agreed. This is the same type of person who wouldn't blink twice about $2,000 for a day at Disneyland but God forbid someone else's son or daughter spend four days playing soccer, learning how to be independent, and making friends in a fun environment.

Why do you care so much what others think? Live your life with no explanations to strangers.
