They have excellent talent in '24 Harvard, Penn commits, young talent in the '26 attacker who is a force and some underclassman who seem to be rising to the occasion. That plus UMASS attacker and others. But as everyone has said, they need depth and truthfully much better coaching.

Unfortunate yellow cards - two questionable ones, in the first half didn't help. SR draw specialist is the truth. She is phenomenal on the draw and SJC did not have an answer for her. Yes, the two '23 midfielders were a key for the team last year, but they have talent without them. They have the Yale commit (face guarded most of the game and shut down SR's top players on defense), the Penn commit (fast and quick) and some strong attackers. They lack depth and that is their problem. Their goalie play was not the best whereas SR goalie play was impressive. SR is just a better all-around team. They have depth and solid coaching. SJC starters will run out of gas in every game and they have no one to really sub in for them.
