And park in a parking garage? I’m much more creeped out by parking garages than walking in a public area. This is a canard.

So why aren't there more moderate Democrats willing to be tough on crime in DC?
Surely they can see that this is what the population wants, no?
The folks who run the Ward 3 party are not moderate. They are young socialists and aging hippies. The realization that the defund the police movement has brought the city to the brink and led to the deaths of thousands of black and brown people around the country is too much for them to fathom and threatens their entire understanding of the world and their role in it.
The Ward 3 Democrats have nothing to do with Frumin, his nomination, his lack of policies, or election.
What are you talking about? DC is full of ideological dems, with no ability to think in any way other than party lines. And this is why we are in the state we are. Moderates are not welcome here and our voices are drowned out by the claims of defund police and equity. It is so frustrating. Even moreso because quite honestly, the moderates I know are less elitist and, without the white savior racist overtones of the socialists now running this city.
Do you know any details about this shooting? I have not seen anything other than that two men were seen running away. I am not sure how you can attribute a cause to something if you don't know anything about it. Yet, here you are blaming Matt Frumin and "Defund the Police" (something that did not happen in DC which actually increased its policing budget).

I reached out to his office and suggested it earlier in the week but have seen nothing about a stream or recording. Another way that Cheh's job performance was superior. Voted for Goulet, hope he runs again.
A livestream or recording is not in Frumin’s interest as it will result is more Ward 3 residents learning about both the increase in crime here and how little Matt is willing to do about it. He seems obsessed with “traffic calming” safety measures, but could care less about the increasing incidents of violent crime which impact—yes, pedestrians!! The same people he seems to want to protect via a push to lower car traffic to a trickle. Maybe now he will show some interest? Doubt it.
