Whitmer, Newsom, Buttigieg
Yes. Or…..
Jon Ossoff
Raphael Warnock
Lauren Underwood
Joe Nguse
There are others.
Dems have a deep bench. People who ask dumb questions like the first PPs don’t even bother to look at options. Lazy AF.
Ossoff and Warnock have been senators for five minutes. They are part of a deep bench? Nah.
Lol, unlike a young Senator Barack Obama who had also been senator for five minutes and then got zero momentum and did terribly when he ran for president.
Democrats have the most annoying habit of looking for reasons they aBsOluTeLy cAnNoT vote for this person or that person. Democrats are always looking for this magical, perfect person who appeals to absolutely everyone, never missteps, has the perfect amount of domestic and international experience, looks attractive enough, has a pristine dating history, has no annoying quirks, and is the correct race and gender.
If many democrat voters stop this buffoonery, they’ll see that we have lots of amazing candidates who aren’t even 80 years old. 😲😲
You must be young. The only thing that matters is that Biden can beat trump in the swing states. There is no point in a candidate that cannot do that
I’m 48. There are other people who can beat Trump; 80-year-old Joe isn’t the second coming.
You sound old and stuck in the past.
Trump lost to Biden. This is a do over. What fool would mess with success.
And Joe against someone who is not 70….? You think Joe’s going to look good against a fresh, quick-thinking candidate?
Who is that fresh, quick-thinking candidate you have in mind?
This guy, who's so charismatic and good on his feet - the one who just banned abortion in Florida?
Nope.
I’m thinking of Cheyney, Haley, or any of the other young republicans that are likely to run.
Haley is already running and is as already caught lying about how much money she has raised. She’s not winning the nomination.
You’re being pedantic. Biden’s loses to each of these people (see link)….except for Trump.

And if they stick to this message, they will win. The GOP has NO answer to this. Reagan did. Bush 41 did. W sort of did, but no longer.
I like how this kind of turns the whole freedom message around on the Republicans. They claim to be for freedom but their actions amount to suppressing freedom for people who don’t agree with them.
I think Republicans are going to try to make the trans stuff a big issue to try to sway male independent voters. I hope men don’t fall for it. That should be very far from the top of our concerns as a country. Democrats need to stop making it a big thing too. Be supportive but don’t put it front and center. It’s not a winning issue.
It's tough to claim you are for "freedom" when you are the administration that forced vaccines on workers in order to keep their jobs and have worked really hard to suppress speech in so many ways, not to mention attacking the freedom of religion.
Freedom of speech you say
But srsly, bud - these things you mention, sort of have gone out the door since Rs took away abortion, not to mention all the other stuff. Yeah, COVID policies - that was three years ago now.
The way the Democrats dealt with Covid showed us how they really feel about the freedoms of Americans.
While they forced lock downs, vaccines, and kept children out of school, those leaders who were forcing those policies on the peasants were traipsing all over the country breaking the rules, attending gatherings, sending their kids to private schools, and trying really hard to hide it from the public.
We saw it all.

They are certainly no longer for freedom, trampling on the rights of women and LGTBQ, using activist courts to create law and subjugate rights, turning a back on responsibility, allowing overt liars and cheats serve elected office without accountability and abdicating for the most part the role of the US in protecting democratic countries abroad, instead opting for the like of Orban and Putin.
The 2024 presidential election is basically a question of democracy versus authoritarianism and the answer for most thinking Americans is pretty straightforward.
A republic, if you can keep it.

Oh?
Maybe listen to the speech instead of posting a scary looking meme about it?
This is not just a meme.... it is an actual photo from his crazy speech.
And, the speech was scarier than the pic that pp posted.
Last week’s “Red Wedding” speech, in which President Biden rhetorically butchered every MAGA-loving Donald Trump supporter in the spirit of the famous “Game of Thrones” episode, was a national disgrace and will go down in history as one of worst national addresses ever made by a president.
What’s the strategy behind the Biden campaign to demonize his political opponents and further divide the country?
Well, if you were Biden, what would you do?
You can’t really talk about the economy, because inflation is still out of control, and most voters think things are going to get worse before they get better.
You can’t talk about crime, because many in your political party unwisely advocated defunding the police, and while the American voters have a short memory, it’s not that short.
You can’t talk about education, because your policies have contributed to a major decline in student performance at all levels.
You can’t talk about immigration, because your open-border policy has proven toxic to many of the Hispanic voters who in the past were the biggest supporters of comprehensive immigration reform. Those voters now want safer streets and a stronger border because they are worried for their families.
You can’t scare people about COVID-19 or divide people on their vaccination status because most Americans have wisened up about the so-called experts’ failed promises and faulty data.

So you didn’t listen to the speech, you’re just taking a child molester’s former spokesman about it? He’s not a very good judge of character.
