There is no actual treatment for these things. There’s not a magical pill to cure people of things like pedophilia or wanting to harm children. I saw a speaker online during Covid who was a convicted pedophile and he described it as an attraction in the way of how adults with sexual preferences can have a preference for age, hair color, etc.. in a fellow adult and there’s nothing to stop them from being attracted to a person with those features when they feel that attraction. He was explaining how pedophiles re-offend because like other adults that attraction doesn’t just go away with jail time. He was pro-castration fwiw. It never made sense to me until he explained this in a way that makes sense why they re-offend and are always a danger. Your attraction to men with dark hair won’t go away just because you’re jailed for ten years or twenty. When you get out you’ll still be attracted to them. Over time people’s preferences can change but it’s by chance.
That's not true, there are sex offender treatment programs - that are private and expensive. They use technology to measure sexual arousal and discourage it as a part of a larger treatment program.
And years later they are still aroused on scans after “treatment.”
This. There is no treatment without removing sexual organs the rest of the treatments are bogus.

I hope her two beautiful girls, whom I know well, get all the help, love, and support that they need, fo the rest of their lives. They will need it. I hope that Eleanor never has anything to do with her children again. Never. This is so beyond tragic. My heart bleeds for these girls and their friends. They are brilliant, talented, and just generally lovely kids. Oh God, this hurts.
How about for that poor child she lured to the hotel with her dad, who likely does not have access to the vast resources that her children do.
People like her eventually end up being killed in prison anyhow because even criminals have "standards" when it comes to crimes committed. You touch a child, you're good as dead in there.

There was no child; it was an FBI sting.
Not that there couldn't have been other children prior to this.
There was a child in the abuse material she distributed. I hope they can track down who she got it from, who made it, and they all get fried too.

I think that while most victims of abuse do not go on to abuse, the majority of people who DO abuse, had been abused themselves.
Which is no excuse, but as a PP said, some they flip the role of abuser/abused.
If you look at her comments to the UC, she talks as if the girl will like it, be excited by it. There are no comments of enjoying any force or pain, or anything against the girls' will. It's this fantasy that the girl's world will open up sexually, and she (the woman) will be there to witness it, which is arousing to her.
It's so sick. She's loving the father-daughter dynamic, so...if I were her dad, I'd be worried now as it casts implications on him
Totally agree with this. Also the fact that Richmond Times Dispatch STILL does not have a single mention of this story is so disturbing.
Why do people keep harping on the lack of press when there’s literally a Times-Dispatch article linked in the OP? Also here https://dailyprogress.com/news/local/charlottesville-mother-arrested-on-child-porn-attempted-exploitation-charges/article_eb01979a-d3f0-11ed-8516-6749777298d4.html

That is not disturbing to anyone?
Did you read the first paragraph of the OP?
UVA and RVA mean nothing to most of us. You know that, right?
You just stumbled onto this thread because you're one of those True Crime internet sleuth types. But the fact is, this is a website that started as and still focuses on DC. Which is ... close to Richmond.
I live in DC, I have three solid girlfriends from Richmond, and all three knew one or both of their VERY PROMINENT families. Two attended the same private girls' school (the other, Collegiate).

Anonymous wrote:Wow. This woman is exactly like Ghislaine Maxwell. What is it with wealthy, privileged society ladies r*ping kids?? Sick. I went to UVA over a decade ago but otherwise don't have any connections to the area. Never heard of this woman but the fact that I didn't hear of this until DCUM announced it is...telling.
Let's not let this pedo woman escape public disgrace just because her family is trying to buy off the Press. Hope this goes viral on social media.
