Is it as tacky as leaving up Halloween decorations until Thanksgiving?

I think children love seeing the inflatables so I give them a pass because - the lights, the garishness of Chrustmas brings cheer.

That being said - I don’t add much to the street view. My yankee sensibility restrains my decorating?!

Many of us are way beyond caring about whether yard decorations are tacky. ( I.e., so many friends furloughed or unemployed, window to mitigate climate change closing, rule of law being ignored etc )

In the past, I would say yes inflatables are an eye sore but now I am glad when I see people finding joy in whatever small ways they can.

Then again, no one in our hood has large inflatable decorations. The current trend seems to be giant spiderwebs that light up at night. I like them.

Everything is for the kids. Not sure why adults continue to make the inflatable thing for Christmas or Halloween about them. You should see all the joy the toddlers get from visiting our house multiple times a year. My kids are older now and we still enjoy making kids happy with our decorations. Everyone else can F off.

In our hood, Halloween is for everyone of all ages. We have street parties attended by parents and babies/ toddlers through to 90year olds.

No one has inflatables but I would not care if they did. The important thing is that everyone of all ages is welcome - but we cater to children especially.

I like it only when done well. Just throwing inflatables on your lawn to have them there can look cluttered. Placing them aesthetically and well balanced is fantastic!

God. Why do people talk like this? it's so abhorrent. You can't just say "My children and I love them?" like a semi-educated person?

Why do people use the name of the Lord in vain? It's insensitive and disrespectful to those of us who are religious.

Maybe PP was praying for understanding. Judge not lest ye be judged.
