Same. We are backing Monte, who now appears to have been given a Hail Mary opportunity with the suspension of Duncan's and Bergmann's campaigns.
Monte is by FAR the worst candidate. Take the time to get to know her.
I met her. She will become one of the most corrupt CM Ward 3 has ever seen if she is elected.
Again. Examine what she does for a living and how she conducts business.
What do you mean by how she conducts business?
Her consulting company. Along with her husband.

I spent an hour with her and saw that her ethics were low. And I'm not talking about the fact that she switched from the GOP to the democratic party in Jan or that she donated to Pence.
I'm saying I saw her do things that were unethical.

Backing the actual republican, LOL.
I love that her justification for being a registered Republican for decades, and until just before jumping into the race, is that she never really believed in anything, she did it for career reasons. So she's actually a opportunistic careerist, not a conservative at heart. As if somehow that makes it better.

Everything south of Benton Street will be forced to go to the new fox hall elementary school. I guess there are not enough school age kids in the Fox Hall?
Imagine buying a home that is a two minute walk to the school and now you can’t go to that school. Your elementary age kid has a 25 minutes walk cutting through the woods. I guess most will drive? I wonder how much this will impact property values?

I’m disappointed that Tricia Duncan has left the Ward 3 race, but, of course, respect her decision.
I will now cast my vote for Matt Frumin and encourage all who haven’t voted yet to do so. I have known Matt for many years. He is deeply rooted in the community and has
worked, often quietly and without fanfare, on many W3 issues such as affordable housing and school reform. He will reflect Ward 3 values and serve honorably on the Council.
Mary Cheh
That's a pretty tepid endorsement. Frumin worked for Cheh, and the best she can say is that he is rooted in the community and will serve honorably? Yikes.
I am not sure what you would have her say. She handpicked Duncan and it blew up in her face, so she went with her next best option in a spur of the moment comment.
A “spur of the moment” half-hearted endorsement of a guy she should know well? It sounds like she’s frustrated into having to do it and would prefer to support anyone but Frumin.
If she didn't want to do it, she wouldn't have. Pretty simple.
When reporters asked her the first time after Duncan dropped out she demurred. Only later to come back with her tepid endorsement/hostage video.
