From my understanding, you can't prep for this. I don't work with children but have a slight background in assessment with adults so am interested in how innate talents, abilities, etc. are determined. There is a knowledge component (I believe) like "what is a mime" -- just making that word up. So, theoretically, you could go through a huge list of words to "teach" them but that is not realistic and it is not what the test is. They already know things or don't, know how to make connections or don't, have a strong ability to reason. None of these things can you teach/study for like knowledge based tests for the SAT or GRE. Just relax and let you child think this is fun. You should not try to "beat" this; you should really want to know what his/her innate abilities are. Probably not what you want to hear but remember that there are something like seven different types of intelligence -- can't study for these.
