I was a WWII history buff for many years. And - pretty much every book written on the European theater prior to about 1995 is just pure crap. No one knew about Enigma and with that knowledge now out, just about everything with all decision making changed.
WWII history buffs never called for a revolution and overthrow of the government. Those who want CR - or CRT - taught aren't in it to make an academic point. They want a revolution, a reparation - and communism. How do you think NKorea got their way? You ok with that?
Academics who write about and teach CRT… want communism? Do you even realize how utterly delusional you are?

I'm not saying that to be obtuse, I truly don't understand why it's so controversial to teach kids about redlining, racial covenants, three strikes you're out, etc. I learned about redlining and disproportionality in high school (in not particularly liberal part of Wisconsin, mind you) in the late 90s, it's not that new. Somehow we all survived.

LOL
lol what? Getting/expecting good grades has been deemed a white supremacist value.
Cite the CRT handbook you are referencing so we can all go look at it. Also cite the schools that hace adopted that guidebook.
And this is where anyone saying crt isn’t a thing loses credibility. No one says there is a guide book or a Manuel. If you want to learn about how standards based grading is racist, look up Asao B. Inoue and his push to move towards effort based grading.

While I agree with the PP who says that there is no CRT handbook that says good grades are white supremacist culture, I do believe that they are a bit naive or uninformed about how CRT concepts have shaped curriculums. I have read math curriculums that literally say “focusing on getting the right answer is white supremacist culture.”
Btw, I have no issues with CRT being taught in college or late high school, provided that it is taught as what it is, which is a theory.

Those are some very interesting reviews! Some of the people here who defend CRT and say it's not really a thing should read them.
